Description
The Orvixa is a 250mm alabaster disc table lamp built around a thick, gently domed disc of natural Spanish alabaster set above a cylindrical black base. The lamp stands 210mm tall with the alabaster disc spanning 250mm across, and a flush black circular plate sits within the upper face of the stone. An integrated 3000K LED is concealed inside the structure and runs on standard 230V mains.
Designed as accent and ambient lighting for sideboards, console tables, bedside surfaces and low shelving, the Orvixa works in spaces where a compact horizontal silhouette suits the surface better than a tall shaded lamp. The light source is hidden within the body, so what reaches the room is filtered through the stone itself rather than projected as a direct beam, giving a soft pool of warm light around the lamp without glare at seated eye level.
The alabaster disc is cut thick to emphasise volume and edge profile, and each piece carries its own pattern of mineral veining and tonal variation. When lit, the stone shows its internal density differences, with brighter and softer regions appearing across the curved surface. The black base reads as a single dark cylinder against the warmth of the alabaster above, sharpening the contrast between the two materials and giving the lamp visual weight on the surface it sits on.

Frequently Asked
What colour temperature does the integrated LED produce?
The integrated LED is rated at 3000K, which is a warm white. It produces a soft, slightly amber light that suits living rooms, bedrooms and hospitality settings rather than cool task environments.
Is the Orvixa dimmable?
The lamp runs on 230V mains with an integrated LED. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model and driver pairing, so please contact us before connecting the Orvixa to a dimmer circuit to confirm.
Does each lamp look the same?
No. The disc is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and it becomes most visible when the lamp is switched on.
How should the alabaster be cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone with water, as moisture and chemicals can mark the surface.
