Description

The Orion is a 250mm semi-flush ceiling light with an 8W integrated LED producing 560 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a white acrylic diffuser. The matt black ceiling mount sits 86mm proud of the ceiling, making the fitting suitable for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low. The 140° beam angle spreads light evenly across a room without creating a central hot spot.

Designed for hallways, compact bedrooms, en-suites, utility rooms and home offices where a low-profile fitting is needed, the Orion delivers functional ambient light without dominating the ceiling plane. The combination of white diffuser and black mount provides a clean two-tone finish that pairs with both warm-toned and monochrome interiors. The semi-flush mount style allows the fitting to be installed on a standard UK ceiling rose without requiring recessing or structural modification.

The white acrylic diffuser softens the LED output and prevents direct view of the light source from typical standing and seated positions. The 8W draw and 560lm output suit rooms up to approximately 8-10m², equivalent to a small bedroom, study or hallway section. The integrated LED is rated for 25,000 hours of typical use, and the non-dimmable driver simplifies installation by removing the need for compatible dimmer switches.

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Wipe the white acrylic diffuser with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the diffuser or using chemical sprays that may discolour the acrylic or damage the black powder-coated mount.
