Description

The Orion is a 250mm semi-flush ceiling light with a matt black exterior canopy and a hand-applied gold leaf interior that reflects the integrated 8W LED downward and outward through a 140° beam angle. The 8W LED runs at 3000K warm white and delivers 560 lumens, providing ambient light for hallways, bedrooms, utility rooms and low-ceiling spaces where a pendant would hang too low.

The 86mm height from ceiling to base gives sufficient clearance for airflow and heat dissipation while keeping the fitting compact enough for rooms with 2.3-2.4m ceiling heights. The gold leaf interior catches and reflects the LED light with a warm metallic glow, turning the inside of the fixture into a secondary light source. The matt black exterior grounds the design and reduces glare from the top surface when viewed from standing height.

Each gold leaf application varies slightly depending on how the individual leaf sheets settle during manufacture, so no two Orion fittings look identical when lit. The canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the driver is housed inside the black section, requiring only mains connection during installation. The fitting weighs 0.8kg and mounts directly to a ceiling joist or cross-batten without additional support.
