Description

The Orion is an 800mm ring chandelier built from 36 natural Spanish alabaster panels arranged around a brushed brass frame. The panels sit shoulder-to-shoulder in two tiers, forming a continuous low-profile band just 100mm high. Thirty-six G4 lamps (sold separately) sit behind the alabaster, with each panel acting as its own diffuser. The fitting suspends from four slim cables on a matching brushed brass canopy.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls, stairwells and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Orion works as the primary ambient light source for spaces of around 15-25m². The ring format casts light downward and outward through the stone rather than into a single pool, so the fitting suits round or rectangular dining tables of 1.4m or wider. Suspension cables can be shortened on installation to set the drop.

Each alabaster panel is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining, milky tone and faint cloud patterns vary across the 36 segments and between individual chandeliers. The brushed brass frame uses a low-sheen finish that reads as warm gold without the mirror reflections of polished brass, and the inner and outer brass rings give the alabaster a defined edge top and bottom. At 800mm in diameter the Orion has substantial visual weight without crowding standard 2.7-3m ceilings.
