The minimum drop of 230mm suits ceilings from 2.4m upwards. For positioning over a kitchen island or dining table, the cable can be adjusted to hang the pendant 700-900mm above the surface, which works comfortably in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m.

Can multiple pendants be used over a long island?

Yes. The 590lm output and 120° beam angle make the Orion suitable for clustering in groups of two or three over a longer kitchen island, typically spaced 600-800mm apart to provide even coverage without overlapping pools of light.

How is the cable length adjusted?

The cable is adjusted during installation by shortening it to the desired drop before connecting to the ceiling rose. Once installed, the drop is fixed and cannot be adjusted without removing the pendant from the ceiling.
