Description

The Schuller Orbes is a 5-light cluster pendant combining smoke-toned glass and polycarbonate spheres with copper and satin brass ring accents, suspended from a matt black canopy. Each sphere houses an integrated LED module, totaling 36W at 3000K across the five pendants, and the fixture delivers 1,671 lumens when fully illuminated. The pendant is dimmable via TRIAC or 0-10V protocols, allowing output to be adjusted from full brightness down to ambient glow.

Designed for installation over dining tables, kitchen islands and lounge seating areas, the Orbes suits rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. The drop is adjustable from a minimum of 60cm to a maximum of 170cm, with the five spheres cascading at staggered heights when set to the standard 150cm configuration. What ceiling height is needed?

The Orbes works in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. The drop is adjustable from 60cm to 170cm, with the standard configuration set at 150cm. For dining tables, position the lowest sphere 700-800mm above the table surface.

Can the sphere heights be adjusted individually?

The five pendants are set at staggered heights during installation by adjusting the cable length for each sphere. The assembly instructions included with the fixture provide guidance on achieving the cascading effect shown in the product images.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED modules are integrated into each sphere and are not user-replaceable. The LEDs are rated for tens of thousands of hours of operation, typically outlasting the decorative lifespan of the fixture itself.
