Description

The Omera wall mounting bracket set from Ideal Lux provides the hardware needed to wall-mount pendant lights that would normally hang from a ceiling rose. The kit includes four steel wire cables with looped ends, four cylindrical gripper hooks, metal mounting brackets with pre-drilled holes, and fixing screws. The cables are 12mm diameter and can be adjusted for length during installation.

Designed for situations where a pendant fitting needs to be moved from a central ceiling position to a side wall, or where a pendant hangs over a countertop and the cable needs to be routed along a wall before descending. The gripper hooks clamp onto each wire cable, allowing the drop length to be fixed at the desired height. The metal brackets fix to the wall at the point where the cable transitions from horizontal to vertical run.

The hardware is finished in zinc-plated steel to resist corrosion in indoor environments. The kit suits pendant fittings with multi-strand steel wire suspension rather than fabric-covered flex, and works with most European pendant lights from Ideal Lux, Mantra, Schuller and similar manufacturers. Installation requires basic tools — a drill for pilot holes and a screwdriver for the fixing screws. The 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux covers the metal components against manufacturing defects.

How is the drop length adjusted?

The cylindrical gripper hooks clamp onto the steel wire cable at the desired height. Loosen the grub screw on the gripper, slide it to the required position, then tighten to lock the cable in place.
