Description

The Olivia is a 70cm crystal chandelier with eight E14 bulb fittings arranged on polished chrome arms beneath a pleated soft bronze fabric shade. The chrome frame supports tiers of Asfour crystal droplets that hang below the shade and terminate in a central crystal pendant drop. The combination of warm bronze fabric and chrome metalwork gives depth without overwhelming the fixture's classic chandelier profile.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Olivia provides both ambient light through the shade and decorative sparkle from the crystal tiers. The drop is adjustable between 850mm and 2180mm on installation, allowing the chandelier to sit 750-900mm above a dining table or lower in high-ceilinged entrance halls. The eight E14 bulbs (sold separately) allow dimmable control when paired with appropriate LED candle or golf ball bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

The soft bronze shade is a pleated gauze fabric that diffuses light upward and downward while the Asfour crystals below catch and refract light from the bulbs positioned inside the chrome cage. The 6.8kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for the load and secure fixings into a joist or solid ceiling structure. The polished chrome finish on the metalwork reflects ambient daylight during the day and complements both traditional interiors with warm wood tones and contemporary schemes using neutral greys and metallics.

How is the chandelier cleaned?

Turn off the power at the mains. Dust the chrome frame and fabric shade with a soft microfibre cloth. The Asfour crystals can be wiped individually with a barely-damp cloth and distilled water. Do not spray cleaning products directly onto the fabric shade or soak the crystals. For deeper cleaning the crystals can be unhooked from the frame.

What fixing is required for the weight?

The Olivia weighs 6.8kg. The ceiling rose must be fixed securely into a joist or solid ceiling structure using appropriate fixings. Plasterboard alone will not support this weight safely. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician during installation.
