Description

The Olivia is a 70cm diameter crystal chandelier with eight E14 bulb holders arranged on a polished chrome Flemish-style frame, dressed with Asfour cut crystal droplets and covered by a white fabric drum shade. The chrome arms curve upward and outward from a central hub, each terminating in a candle-style lampholder positioned to direct light through the crystals and shade simultaneously.

Designed for dining rooms, larger living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Olivia combines ambient and decorative function. The drop is adjustable between 850mm minimum and 2180mm maximum on installation, allowing the chandelier to be set 700-800mm above a dining table or hung lower in double-height spaces. The white gauze shade diffuses direct glare from the bulbs while allowing the crystal droplets beneath to catch and refract the light. Each E14 socket accepts bulbs up to 40W, giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or filament candle bulbs depending on brightness and colour temperature preference.

The Asfour crystal is cut glass manufactured in Egypt to high optical clarity, producing more defined light refraction than pressed acrylic alternatives. The polished chrome finish on the metalwork gives high-reflectance surfaces that amplify the effect of the crystals, while the white shade softens the overall light distribution. At 6.8kg the chandelier requires a ceiling rose rated for at least 10kg and must be wired to a suitable lighting circuit. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
