Description

The Olivia is a 2-light wall light with a hand-finished ivory-painted metal frame and gold patina accents. Two curved arms extend from an oval backplate, each holding a candle-style socket fitted with E14 bulbs (sold separately). The ivory finish sits as the base colour across the metal frame, with gold patina applied by hand to raised details and edges, giving a worn, aged effect.

Designed for hallways, dining rooms and living rooms where traditional wall lighting is needed, the Olivia mounts directly to the wall with the backplate concealing the wiring entry. The 250mm width and 125mm projection suit walls in rooms with moderate traffic flow, where the arms extend far enough to provide useful ambient light without protruding too far into the walking space. The two-light configuration provides more output than a single-arm sconce without the width of a three or five-light fitting.

Each Olivia wall light is hand-painted and hand-finished, so the coverage of the gold patina varies slightly between individual pieces. The ivory base coat is applied first, then the gold patina is applied selectively to decorative details and rubbed back to expose the ivory beneath in areas where natural wear would occur. The finish pairs with traditional interiors that carry warm cream, stone or terracotta colour palettes, and the hand-applied patina avoids the uniformity of factory-sprayed finishes.

The E14 bulbs sit upright in open candle holders, so visible-filament LED candle bulbs or traditional flame-tip bulbs contribute to the overall appearance when lit. Can glass shades be added?

Yes. The Olivia accepts compatible glass shades that clip or screw onto the E14 holders. Shades diffuse the light and soften the appearance of the bulb, though they are not included with the fitting.

How is it installed?

The oval backplate mounts to a standard UK wall box or surface-mounted patress with two fixing screws. The mains cable enters through the backplate and connects to the fitting's internal terminal block. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
