Description

The Olimpia is a 1.7m floor lamp built around a circular LED ring suspended on a polished chrome stem, housing an integrated 12W LED that delivers 900 lumens at 3000K warm white. The circular frame holds an opal white diffuser that wraps the LED strip, turning the ring itself into the light source rather than housing a separate bulb. The polished chrome finish runs the full height of the stem and base, giving the lamp a reflective, mirror-like appearance.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and lounge areas where ambient light is needed without ceiling fittings, the Olimpia provides soft diffused light rather than directed task light. The 425mm circular ring sits at approximately 1.5m height on the vertical stem, positioned to light a seating area or corner without glare at eye level when standing. The circular base measures 250mm diameter and carries 5.8kg of total weight, providing stability on carpets and hard floors without needing to be anchored.

The opal diffuser softens the LED strip inside the ring, preventing visible hotspots and creating an even glow around the full 360° of the circle. The polished chrome reflects surrounding tones and picks up ambient light during the day, making the lamp a visible design element even when switched off. The integrated LED cannot be replaced, so the 3000K colour temperature and 900-lumen output are fixed at the specified level — there is no option to adjust brightness or temperature on this model.

Can the LED be replaced if it fails?

The LED is integrated into the circular ring and is not user-replaceable. The lamp carries a 3-year warranty covering LED failure within that period. Mantra integrated LEDs are typically rated for 25,000+ hours of use.

What colour is the light output?

The LED is rated at 3000K, which sits in the warm white range — a yellowish tone similar to traditional halogen or incandescent bulbs, rather than the cooler blue-white of daylight LEDs.

How is the chrome cleaned?

Wipe the polished chrome with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works well. Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishes or sprays containing ammonia, as these can dull the chrome finish over time.
