The Olimpia is a semi-flush ceiling light built around two circular LED rings mounted on angled chrome arms that extend from a central polished chrome ceiling plate. Each ring houses integrated LED modules behind opal white diffusers, with the combined 30W output delivering 2250 lumens at 3000K warm white. The rings sit at different angles, creating a sculptural asymmetry when viewed from below.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Olimpia works as a primary light source in living rooms, open-plan kitchen-diners, hallways and bedrooms where a ceiling pendant would hang too low. The 650mm total height from ceiling to the lowest point of the fixture means it projects approximately 650mm into the room, so check clearance above doorways and along circulation routes before installation. The 530mm arm span gives the fitting visual presence across a 4-5m room without dominating smaller spaces.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and changes appearance throughout the day as natural light moves across the room, making the fixture appear brighter and more prominent in direct sunlight. The opal diffusers soften the LED light and eliminate visible diode points, distributing the 2250 lumens evenly across the ceiling and down into the room. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range, closer to traditional halogen than cool daylight LEDs.

The integrated LEDs are not user-replaceable and are designed to last the working life of the fitting under typical domestic use. The fitting is not dimmable and operates on standard 220-240V mains voltage. Installation requires a suitable ceiling joist or mounting point capable of supporting 1.32kg, and connection to a ceiling rose or junction box with earth.

Is the Olimpia dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed 30W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. Attempting to fit a dimmer may damage the driver circuitry.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting projects 650mm from the ceiling. It works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above to maintain clearance above head height and doorways.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No. The LEDs are integrated into the rings and are not user-replaceable. Under typical domestic use the LEDs are designed to last the working life of the fitting, typically 20,000-30,000 hours.

The 2250 lumen output provides adequate ambient light for rooms up to approximately 15-18 square metres. For larger open-plan spaces or rooms requiring higher light levels for tasks, consider pairing with additional lighting.
