Description
The Knightsbridge Odina is a single tilt round downlight with a GU10 lamp fitting, housed in a die-cast aluminium bezel finished in matt white. The inner lamp holder tilts up to 25° from centre, allowing the beam to be angled towards a feature, a wall or a work surface rather than straight down. The white finish sits flush with the ceiling surface with just 6mm of projection.
Designed for residential, hospitality and light commercial installation where adjustable accent lighting is needed without a visible track system, the Odina suits kitchens, living rooms, bedroom reading positions, retail displays and hallways. The 72mm cut-out diameter fits standard ceiling voids of 70mm minimum depth and the GU10 base accepts any standard GU10 LED up to 10W (sold separately), giving control over colour temperature and dimmer compatibility.
The die-cast aluminium construction provides structural rigidity for the tilt mechanism and heat dissipation for LED lamps, while the white powder-coated finish hides ceiling imperfections around the cut-out edge. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry interior locations only. The Odina is Class I, requiring an earth connection during installation, and is compatible with Knightsbridge fire hoods where fire-rated ceilings require additional protection.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Odina take?
The fitting takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 10W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use a GU10 LED between 5-7W at 3000K or 4000K depending on room use.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb fitted. Use a dimmable GU10 LED paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch to enable dimming.
What does the 25° tilt mean in practice?
The inner lamp holder rotates 25° from the vertical centre position, allowing the beam to be angled towards a wall, a worktop edge, or a feature rather than straight down. Once set, the tilt position stays locked.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be installed in dry interior rooms. For bathrooms, choose a downlight with IP44 or IP65 rating.
