Description
The Odele is a 70cm LED wall light built around two vertically stacked oval hoops in brushed gold-finish aluminium, each holding an opal silicone diffuser panel. A 24W integrated LED sits behind the diffusers, casting 3000K warm white light through the translucent material and giving the twin ovals a soft ambient glow against the wall.
Designed for contemporary hallways, living rooms and hospitality interiors where decorative wall lighting doubles as a visual feature, the Odele provides diffused wash light rather than directed task light. The two ovals are proportioned to create vertical rhythm — the fixture measures 17cm wide and projects just 6cm from the wall, so it works in narrower hallway runs without protruding into circulation space. The brushed gold finish pairs well with warm-toned interiors, walnut timber and darker painted walls.
The aluminium frame weighs under 1kg, making it straightforward to fix to plasterboard or masonry with standard wall plugs and screws. The IP20 rating limits the Odele to dry indoor locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but rated for 25,000-30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to 15-20 years at typical domestic usage levels.
This is part of Schuller's contemporary metal lighting collection, manufactured in Spain. The gold finish is applied as a powder coat over the aluminium body, giving a consistent tone across the two oval frames and avoiding the patina variation seen in solid brass or plated fittings.

Frequently Asked
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The Odele uses an integrated 24W LED module that is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 25,000-30,000 hours of operation, which translates to approximately 15-20 years under typical residential use patterns.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No. The Odele carries an IP20 rating, which means it is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It does not carry the IP44 or higher rating required for bathroom zones.
How is it fitted to the wall?
The Odele mounts to the wall via a rear backplate using standard wall plugs and screws. The fitting weighs under 1kg, so it can be fixed to plasterboard with appropriate cavity fixings or directly to masonry with wall plugs. Wiring connects to a ceiling rose or junction box behind the backplate.
What finish is the gold coating?
The gold finish is a powder-coated layer applied to the aluminium frame. This gives a consistent colour tone across both oval hoops and does not patina or tarnish over time like solid brass or brass-plated fittings.
