O2 3 Light Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome

The Mantra O2 is a 350mm diameter semi-flush ceiling light with three bubble-textured clear glass globes mounted on a polished chrome circular frame. Each globe houses a G9 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately) and the moulded glass surface creates an irregular, water-droplet texture that refracts light into scattered highlights across the ceiling and walls.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.7m where a traditional chandelier would hang too low, the O2 sits 140mm below the ceiling and suits hallways, bedrooms, dining nooks and kitchen zones needing overhead light without drop pendants. The semi-flush profile leaves airspace around light fittings and ceiling fans, and the chrome frame pairs with both warm-toned and cool-toned interiors. The three-globe configuration provides balanced coverage for rooms up to 12-15m².

Each glass globe is individually moulded with raised circular bubble patterns on the exterior surface, so light passing through the glass creates texture shadows and refracted highlights on the ceiling above. The polished chrome frame reflects ambient light back into the room and the 4.6kg weight gives the fitting a solid presence once installed. The G9 socket accepts halogen, LED or eco-halogen capsule bulbs, and the fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

Is the O2 dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming but the bulbs must also be rated as dimmable. Non-dimmable G9 LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.

What bulbs does it take?

The O2 takes three G9 capsule bulbs (sold separately). G9 bulbs are available in halogen, LED and eco-halogen formats. Most users choose LED G9 bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for warm white light with lower running costs than halogen.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting projects 140mm below the ceiling, so it suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. In lower-ceilinged rooms the globes may feel visually close to head height, though the semi-flush design is more compact than drop pendants.

How is the textured glass cleaned?

The bubble-textured surface collects dust in the recessed areas between raised circles. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth when the bulbs are cool and the fitting is switched off. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome frame or bulb sockets.
