O2 1 Light Table Lamp - Polished Chrome

The O2 is a 305mm table lamp built around a clear glass shade formed from overlapping bubbles, set on a tapered polished chrome stem and circular chrome base. The shade clusters approximately twelve individual glass bubbles into a single sculptural form, with each bubble catching and refracting light when the lamp is lit. A single G9 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the central bubble cavity, casting light outward through the curved glass surfaces.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and occasional side tables in living rooms, the O2 works as both a task light for reading and a decorative accent piece. The 150mm diameter footprint sits comfortably on surfaces as narrow as 300mm, while the 305mm height positions the light source at a typical bedside reading height when placed on a standard 600mm-high nightstand. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light during the day, giving the lamp a mirror-like presence even when switched off.

The bubble glass is hand-formed, so the exact size and arrangement of individual bubbles varies slightly between lamps. This gives each O2 a unique light pattern when lit, as the refractions differ depending on which bubbles the light passes through. The 2.4kg weight keeps the lamp stable on most surfaces without requiring additional base weighting. The chrome stem tapers from 20mm at the base to 12mm at the shade connection, visually balancing the wider glass form above.

What bulb does it take?

The O2 takes a single G9 capsule bulb, sold separately. We suggest pairing this with a warm-white LED G9 between 2-4W and 2700K-3000K for bedside or ambient use. The lamp is dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and compatible dimmer switch.

Is the bubble glass fragile?

The glass shade is hand-formed and should be handled with care during installation and cleaning. Once fitted to the chrome stem, the 2.4kg weight and circular base provide stability on most surfaces. The glass is thicker than standard pendant shades, giving it reasonable durability for a table lamp.

How is the glass cleaned?

Switch off and allow the lamp to cool fully. Wipe the glass with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the glass or using household sprays that can leave residue inside the bubble recesses.
