Description

The Nyxara is a 230mm-tall table lamp built around a single horizontal disc of natural Spanish alabaster, 280mm in diameter, mounted on a vertically ribbed black metal column with a matching circular black base. An integrated 3000K LED is concealed in a domed black housing above the disc, washing warm light down across the stone so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser.

The compact 230mm height and 280mm width keep the Nyxara in scale with bedside cabinets, console tables, sideboards and reading-side shelves where a taller pillar lamp would dominate. Because the LED is integrated and powered from 230V mains, there's no bulb to source or replace, and the warm 3000K output suits living rooms, bedrooms and quieter task areas rather than bright kitchen or workspace lighting.

Each alabaster disc is cut from natural stone, so veining patterns, density and translucency vary between individual lamps. When unlit, the disc reads as a soft white horizontal plane against the matt black ribbed column; when lit, the stone reveals its mineral character and the ribbed column casts a subtle vertical shadow line beneath the disc edge. The black metalwork uses a low-sheen finish that holds the contrast with the stone without competing with it.

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe the disc gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, and don't soak the stone with water, as moisture can mark the surface.
