Nur Rectangular LED Semi-Flush Ceiling Light 40W 3000K - Polished Chrome

The Nur is an 855mm rectangular LED semi-flush ceiling light built around a single looping aluminium frame finished in polished chrome. The frame extends from a circular ceiling plate and curves into an elongated rectangular outline, with a frosted white acrylic diffuser running the full length of the illuminated arm. An integrated 40W LED inside the diffuser produces 3200lm at 3000K warm white, casting soft ambient light across the room from a fitting that projects only 450mm from the ceiling.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.7m where a full pendant would hang too low, the Nur suits living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms and hallways. The looping rectangular shape gives the fitting a sculptural presence that works as a decorative feature even when switched off. The 120° beam angle spreads light evenly across a 4m x 4m room without creating hard shadows or hotspots on the ceiling.

The polished chrome finish provides a reflective accent that pairs cleanly with contemporary and mid-century interiors, while the frosted diffuser softens the LED light source to prevent glare. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a trailing-edge LED-compatible dimmer, allowing output to be reduced from full brightness to a lower ambient level for evening use. The 855mm length works best over dining tables, in wide hallways or centred in open-plan living spaces where the elongated form suits the room proportions.

Is the Nur dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a trailing-edge LED-compatible dimmer switch. Standard rotary dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs may cause flickering or hum. Check dimmer compatibility before purchase.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 450mm projection from ceiling to base of the fitting works best in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.7m. In taller rooms a longer pendant may suit the proportions better; in lower ceilings the Nur provides ambient light without intrusion into the room.

What size room does it light?

The 3200lm output and 120° beam angle provide main ambient lighting for rooms up to 4m x 4m. In larger open-plan spaces the Nur works as accent lighting or can be paired with additional fittings.

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 25,000+ hours, equivalent to approximately 11 years of use at 6 hours per day. After this period the entire fitting would need replacement.
