Nur LED Semi-Flush Ceiling Light 50W 3000K - Silver & Polished Chrome

The Nur is a 525mm semi-flush ceiling light built around two curved LED arms that loop out from a polished chrome ceiling plate in an asymmetric ribbon. The integrated 50W LED system delivers 4000 lumens of 3000K warm white light through frosted white diffusers that run the full length of each arm, turning the metal curves themselves into the light source.

Designed for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights where a full pendant would hang too low, the Nur extends 640mm from the ceiling at its lowest point while keeping the main body close to the ceiling plane. The semi-flush configuration suits living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms where both ambient light and a decorative sculptural element are needed. The 120° beam angle spreads light across the room rather than concentrating it downward, providing general illumination without creating harsh shadows.

The silver finish on the main loop arms contrasts with the mirror-bright polished chrome ceiling plate and stem, giving the fitting a two-tone metallic appearance that pairs with both warm and cool interiors. The frosted white diffuser softens the LED output and hides the individual LED chips, presenting a continuous glow along the curve rather than visible points of light. At 1.57kg the fitting has enough weight to feel substantial without requiring reinforced ceiling fixings beyond a standard UK ceiling rose.

The integrated LED system is non-dimmable and non-replaceable, providing maintenance-free operation across the typical 25,000-hour LED lifespan. The 100-240V driver allows installation on both UK and international mains voltages without modification.

Is the Nur dimmable?

No. The integrated LED system is non-dimmable and operates at full 4000 lumen output when switched on. If dimming is required, a different fitting from the Mantra range would be needed.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Nur extends 640mm from the ceiling at its lowest point. In a room with a 2.4m ceiling height, the lowest part of the fitting would sit at approximately 1.76m above the floor, which provides comfortable head clearance for most spaces. Rooms with ceiling heights below 2.3m may find the fitting sits too low.

Can the LED be replaced when it fails?

No. The LED system is integrated into the metal arms and is not user-replaceable. The typical LED lifespan of 25,000 hours translates to approximately 11 years of use at 6 hours per day. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty on the fitting.

How is the fitting cleaned?

The polished chrome and silver surfaces can be wiped with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or smudges on the chrome, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the diffuser or getting moisture into the LED assembly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemical polishes on the metallic finishes.
