Description

The Nur II is a 340mm table lamp built around a continuous loop of illuminated acrylic tube, curving through 360° in a single uninterrupted form. A polished chrome base and arm support the loop, which houses an integrated 12W LED strip emitting 900 lumens of 3000K warm white light. The acrylic diffuses the LED evenly along the entire loop, so the lamp glows as a solid line rather than showing individual LED points.

Designed for bedside tables, desks and console surfaces where both ambient and task lighting are needed without a conventional shade blocking the light pattern, the Nur II casts a 120° beam that spreads across a desk surface or fills a corner with indirect light. The 210mm diameter footprint fits narrow bedside tables and desk corners, while the 340mm height positions the top of the loop at eye level when seated, directing light downward and outward.

The polished chrome finish on the base and structural arm catches reflections and pairs with both cool-toned and warm-toned interiors, while the opal white acrylic tube softens the light output and hides the internal wiring. The loop form acts as a visual accent when lit or unlit, giving the lamp a sculptural presence on a surface without needing decorative objects around it. At 0.7kg the lamp is light enough to reposition but stable on most flat surfaces.

Is the Nur II dimmable?

No. The integrated 12W LED is not dimmable and operates at full 900lm output when switched on. The lamp is controlled by a standard on/off switch on the cable.

What surface area does it light?

The 120° beam angle and 900lm output suit a desk surface of approximately 1.2m x 0.6m, or a bedside table where the lamp provides enough light for reading without needing an overhead fitting. The loop form spreads light in multiple directions rather than concentrating it in a single spot.

How is the acrylic tube cleaned?

Wipe the opal white acrylic loop with a dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the acrylic and do not use household sprays or solvents which may cloud the surface.

What voltage does it run on?

The lamp accepts 100-240V AC at 50/60Hz, making it compatible with UK mains and suitable for international use with the appropriate plug adapter.
