Nur II LED Linear Semi-Flush Ceiling Light 50W 3000K - Polished Chrome

The Nur II is a linear LED semi-flush ceiling light with a 1170mm curved acrylic arm extending from a polished chrome ceiling plate. The arm forms a sweeping loop shape, housing an integrated 50W LED strip that emits 3750 lumens of warm 3000K light through the opal white acrylic. The acrylic diffuser wraps fully around the LED, distributing light in all directions rather than downward only.

Designed for modern living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms and hallways with standard ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Nur II provides ambient wash lighting rather than focused task light. The curved form suits rooms where a linear fitting would be too harsh and a traditional pendant would hang too low. The 640mm overall height from ceiling to lowest point means the fitting sits closer to the ceiling than a pendant while maintaining a sculptural presence. The 460mm width at the widest span of the loop keeps the fitting proportional in rooms of 12-16m².

The opal white acrylic diffuses the LED strip evenly along the entire 1170mm length, preventing visible hot-spots or dark sections. The polished chrome base plate reflects ambient room light and pairs with contemporary interiors using chrome, brushed nickel or stainless steel accents elsewhere. The curved geometry adds visual interest to plain ceilings without requiring centred positioning, as the asymmetric form works equally well offset to one side of a room. At 2.1kg the fitting requires a secure ceiling fixing into joists or a suitable ceiling anchor rated for the weight.

Is the Nur II dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at full 50W output on standard 220-240V mains. Installing a dimmer switch will not work and may damage the LED driver.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting hangs 640mm from the ceiling to the lowest point of the loop. In a room with a 2.4m ceiling this leaves 1.76m clearance underneath, which is adequate for most spaces. Lower ceilings may find the fitting intrusive.

Can it be installed off-centre?

Yes. The asymmetric curved form works well positioned to one side of a room rather than centred, particularly in rectangular spaces or above seating areas. The loop shape reads as intentionally offset rather than accidentally misplaced.

How bright is 3750 lumens?

3750lm is comparable to three or four traditional 60W incandescent bulbs, sufficient as the primary ambient light source in a room of 12-16m². The 120° beam angle and 360° acrylic diffusion spread this output widely rather than concentrating it downward.
