Description

The Nur is a 1480mm LED floor lamp built around a sinuous silver-finished metal frame that curves from a 350mm circular base to a polished chrome head, with a frosted polycarbonate diffuser running the length of the arc. An integrated 20W LED produces 1800lm of warm 3000K light distributed through the frosted diffuser across a 120-degree beam angle, providing ambient rather than directed illumination.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and lounge areas where ambient background light is needed without ceiling fittings, the Nur's curved form directs light upward and outward rather than downward. The inline floor dimmer on the cable allows adjustment from full 1800lm output to a lower evening glow without needing wall dimmer switches. The lamp plugs into a standard 13A socket and draws 20W on 230-240V mains.

The silver frame finish provides a neutral metallic tone that pairs with cool greys, whites and glass furniture, while the polished chrome accents at the head and base add reflective detail. The frosted polycarbonate diffuser softens the LED output and prevents glare when the lamp is viewed from the side. At 1.7kg the lamp has enough weight in the base to remain stable on carpet or bare floors despite the 1.5m height and cantilevered curve.

The 25,000-hour LED rating means the strip should not need replacing for many years of typical evening use, and the integrated design means there are no separate bulbs to source or fit. The 120-degree spread pushes light wide across walls and ceiling rather than into a narrow pool, which is why the lamp works as ambient rather than task lighting. The 350mm base keeps the cantilevered curve grounded on rugs and hard floors alike.
