Description

The Nuance is a compact LED wall light with a spherical white aluminium body and a movable head controlled by a black metal rod. The 4W integrated LED sits within the adjustable head cavity, casting warm 3000K light through a black-lined aperture. The rod acts as both a visual accent and a functional control, allowing the light to be tilted and rotated across approximately 180 degrees of movement.

Designed for bedside reading, hallway accent lighting and corridor runs where directed light is needed without a fixed ceiling fitting, the Nuance mounts flush to the wall via a circular backplate concealed behind the spherical body. The 10cm diameter keeps the fixture compact enough for narrow hallways and tight bedside positions, while the 14cm height accounts for the full range of head tilt. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments only.

The white aluminium body is finished in a smooth matt powder coat, and the black detail on the rod and aperture lining creates a defined contrast without adding colour. Is the LED dimmable?

The integrated 4W LED is not stated as dimmable in the specification. Most integrated LED wall lights of this type run at fixed brightness. Contact us before installation if dimming is required.

How is the head adjusted?

The black metal rod protruding from the body acts as a control lever. Tilting and rotating the rod moves the internal light head across approximately 180 degrees of range, allowing light to be directed at reading positions, walls, or angled downwards for corridor lighting.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means it is not protected against moisture and should only be installed in dry indoor spaces well away from direct water contact or bathroom zones.

What size back box is needed?

The circular backplate mounts directly to the wall surface. Standard UK wall light wiring termination is concealed behind the spherical body, so no recessed back box is required — surface wiring or chased cable to the mounting point is sufficient.
