The Nosimaro Vase is a slim oval vase in aluminium with a nickel finish, 30cm tall, 19cm long and only 6cm wide. Its whole body is covered in close vertical ribs with a lightly textured surface, so the metal catches the light unevenly and never looks flat. The rim rises and dips in a gentle wave rather than running dead straight, and the interior shows a darker, glossier grey. Because it is so narrow from front to back, it presents a broad face to the room while taking up very little depth.
