Norma Table Lamp - Black & Brass with Fluted Glass Shade

The Norma is a 38cm table lamp built from two cylindrical metal sections in matt black finish, separated by satin brass rings and topped with a fluted clear glass dome shade. The E27 lampholder inside the glass shade diffuses light through the vertical ribbing moulded into the glass, spreading a soft glow across bedroom and living room surfaces. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb up to 20W (sold separately).

Designed for bedside tables, console tables, and low shelving where the 30cm diameter base sits stably, the Norma provides ambient light rather than directional task lighting. The fluted glass dome acts as the primary diffuser, turning the bulb into a warm point source that illuminates the lamp itself as much as the surrounding space. The vertical ribbing in the glass refracts the light into fine bands that shift as you move past the lamp.

What bulb does the Norma take?

The lamp takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 20W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K for bedside ambient lighting.

Is the lamp dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulb and dimmer combination. If you fit a dimmable E27 LED and use a compatible trailing-edge dimmer, the lamp can be dimmed. The lamp itself has no built-in dimmer switch.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the lamp is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any area exposed to moisture.

How is the fluted glass cleaned?

The glass shade lifts off the metal base for cleaning. Wipe with a soft microfibre cloth, either dry or slightly dampened with water. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the ribbed surface.
