Description

The Norma is a 9-light glass cluster pendant with nine mouth-blown globes in clear, amber and smoked grey glass, suspended on adjustable black fabric cords from an 80cm diameter matt black ceiling canopy trimmed with satin brass. Each globe houses an E27 LED bulb (included), and the drops are staggered between 110cm and 155cm from the ceiling, creating a cascading vertical composition.

Designed for dining areas, stairwells and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Norma works best over tables or in open vertical spaces where the cluster can be viewed from multiple angles. The included radio-frequency remote control and integrated dimmer allow the light output to be adjusted from task brightness to ambient glow without installing a wall-mounted dimmer switch. The 80cm canopy spreads the drop points across a wide enough diameter to avoid visual crowding when viewed from below.

The mix of clear, amber and smoked glass creates tonal variation when lit, with the amber and smoked globes casting warmer, softer light than the clear ones. The satin brass collars at the base of each cord and around the canopy edge provide a warm metallic accent against the matt black metalwork. The fabric-covered cords are adjustable on installation, allowing the drops to be customised to suit ceiling height and the specific space. At 15.22kg fully assembled, the pendant requires a ceiling rose rated for that load and secure fixing into a joist or structural ceiling.

The nine E27 LED bulbs included are rated at 8W each and are dimmable via the remote control. The mouth-blown glass globes show slight variations in thickness and tone between individual pieces, a characteristic of the production method rather than a defect.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. Nine E27 LED 8W dimmable bulbs are included in the box. They are controlled via the included radio-frequency remote and do not require a separate wall dimmer switch.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drops range from 110cm to 155cm as supplied, but can be extended up to 320cm. For a dining table the cluster typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The 80cm canopy diameter also requires adequate ceiling width to avoid positioning the outer drops too close to walls.

How does the remote control work?

The radio-frequency remote controls the integrated dimmer inside the canopy. It does not require line-of-sight and works through walls and ceilings within typical domestic ranges. The remote arrives paired to the pendant and requires no additional installation or wiring.

Can the drop lengths be customised during installation?

Yes. Each of the nine fabric-covered cords is adjustable on installation, allowing you to set different drop lengths to create the exact cascade shape that suits your space and ceiling height. The cords are locked in place once adjusted and do not require ongoing maintenance.
