Description

The Nordica is a floor lamp built around a matt black metal column with a natural beech adjustable arm and a black fabric drum shade. The lamp stands 1010-1520mm tall depending on how the arm is set, and the shade can be angled across a 330-740mm horizontal reach from the base, allowing the light to be positioned over a reading chair, beside a sofa, or directed onto a side table.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and home offices where task or ambient lighting is needed without a fixed ceiling fitting, the Nordica pairs a modern industrial aesthetic with Scandinavian-style natural wood detailing. The beech arm contrasts with the matt black column and shade, softening the industrial silhouette. The cross-foot base measures 250mm wide and provides stability on most floor surfaces without needing additional weight.

The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) inside the black fabric shade, which directs most of the light downward while allowing a soft glow through the weave of the fabric. The shade measures approximately 200mm in diameter. The braided fabric cable runs along the beech arm and down through the column, keeping the cable run concealed. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen. Pair with a dimmable LED and a compatible dimmer switch to control brightness.

The 4.5kg weight sits low in the cross-foot base, keeping the lamp planted as the beech arm swings across its 330-740mm reach. Choosing a 2700K or 3000K bulb keeps the downward pool warm for reading or relaxing. The single E27 socket accepts a wide choice of lamps.

The lamp takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. We suggest pairing this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for reading or ambient lighting.
