The Nordica is a 600mm flush ceiling light with five circular fabric shades arranged in a clustered formation, each housing an E27 bulb fitting. The outer fabric is black, while the inner diffuser is opal white acrylic, creating a two-tone effect when lit. The shallow 140mm height makes this fitting well-suited to rooms with lower ceiling heights where a pendant or chandelier would encroach into headroom.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and open-plan spaces needing ambient rather than task lighting, the five-bulb configuration spreads light across a wider ceiling area than a single central fitting. Each shade acts as a separate light source, so the combined output can be balanced by using lower-wattage bulbs in each socket rather than one high-wattage central source. The flush mount sits directly against the ceiling with no visible suspension, keeping the overall profile minimal.

The black fabric outer shades absorb light on the exterior while the opal white inner diffusers soften and scatter the light downwards and sideways. Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 140mm height from ceiling to base of the shades makes the Nordica one of the lower-profile multi-light fittings available, well-suited to rooms with ceiling heights between 2.2m and 2.5m where deeper pendants would feel intrusive.

Can it be dimmed?
