The Nora is a 1.65m floor lamp built around a slender gold-finished metal stem that rises from a white circular base. A tulip-shaped frosted glass shade sits at the top, housing a single E27 bulb fitting. The shade combines clear and frosted glass to diffuse the bulb's light while still showing the bulb itself as a soft glow.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners where ambient light is needed without overhead fitting, the Nora provides diffused illumination across a 260mm-diameter shade. The 1.65m height positions the light source above most seated head heights, reducing glare for anyone sitting nearby. The lamp is dimmable when paired with a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit, allowing adjustment from full output to low evening light.

The gold finish on the stem has a warm metallic tone that sits between antique brass and polished brass, with a slight satin sheen rather than high polish. The white accents on the base and upper fitting provide contrast against the gold and anchor the lamp visually. What bulb does it take?

The Nora takes one E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to the wattage limit of the fitting. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 6-10W warm-white LED in 2700K-3000K for ambient room lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, but only when paired with a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. The lamp itself does not include a built-in dimmer. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker if connected to a dimmer.

What's the difference between the gold and white finishes?

The gold is the main stem colour, a warm metallic tone with a satin sheen. The white appears on the circular base and the upper fitting where the shade mounts, providing visual contrast and anchoring the design.

Is the base heavy enough to keep it stable?
