Description

The Noctis is a cylindrical wall light with two GU10 fittings housed inside a brushed copper metal body. Each lamp sits at one end of the 150mm cylinder, which projects 80mm from the wall on a matching copper mounting plate. One bulb sends light upward and the other downward.

Designed for hallways, bedroom reading positions beside a headboard, or flanking artwork and mirrors in living rooms, the Noctis provides directed task and accent lighting rather than ambient room illumination. The 60mm diameter cylinder suits walls where a compact fitting is needed without sacrificing light output. Fitted as a pair either side of a bed or mirror, the two units create symmetrical lighting.

The brushed copper finish shows directional grain marks that catch light differently depending on viewing angle, giving the metal surface more visual interest than a plain polished copper. The warm metallic tone pairs with industrial, mid-century and contemporary interiors, and works alongside both warm wood tones and cooler greys. The fitting is rated IP20 for indoor use and accepts standard GU10 bulbs of up to 28W each (bulbs sold separately). Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb choice.

Frequently Asked

What bulbs does the Noctis take?

The fitting takes two GU10 bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED GU10s between 4-6W for reading light, or 3000K colour temperature for ambient warmth. The maximum is 28W per bulb.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself is dimmer-compatible. Whether the light dims in practice depends on the GU10 bulbs you install: choose dimmable GU10 LEDs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch for full dimming control.

What rooms is it suitable for?

The IP20 rating means the Noctis is suitable for indoor living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining rooms. It is not rated for bathrooms, outdoor use, or other wet or damp environments.
