Description
The Noctaryn is a 680mm table lamp built around a solid rectangular block of natural Spanish alabaster, capped at top and bottom with black metal plinths and topped with a tapered black PVC shade. A single E27 lamp socket sits behind the shade on a slim black stem rising from the stone, giving a clear vertical line through the centre of the piece.
Sized at 400mm long by 220mm wide and 680mm tall, the Noctaryn suits console tables in entrance halls, sideboards in living rooms, and larger bedside tables where its rectangular footprint sits cleanly against the furniture edge. The E27 socket accepts standard screw-fit LED, halogen or filament bulbs (sold separately), allowing the brightness and colour temperature to be matched to the room.
Each alabaster block shows individual veining, with dark mineral lines running irregularly through the pale cream stone. No two pieces share the same pattern, so each Noctaryn carries its own surface character. The black metal cap, base and feet frame the stone with a sharp tonal contrast, while the rectangular black shade echoes the geometry of the alabaster body rather than softening it with a round profile.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Noctaryn uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to complement the alabaster and balance the dark shade.
Does the alabaster vary between pieces?
Yes. Each block is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal depth and pattern differ between individual lamps. The dark mineral lines running through the pale stone are a feature of the natural material, not a defect.
Where does this table lamp work best?
At 680mm tall with a 400 x 220mm footprint, the Noctaryn suits console tables, hallway sideboards, larger bedside tables and living room side units. It needs a surface depth of at least 250mm to sit comfortably without overhanging.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
