Description
The Niseko S is a 910mm ceiling fan light combining a 70W tuneable LED panel with a DC motor ceiling fan, controlled via remote. The circular housing measures 400mm diameter at the motor body, with four retractable transparent blades that extend the full span to 910mm when running. The finish pairs brushed gold on the outer ring with a matt black motor housing and stem, and the integrated LED sits behind a diffused white panel at the centre of the fan assembly.
Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and dining spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4-3m, the Niseko S provides both ambient lighting and airflow from a single ceiling point, removing the need for separate fan and light fittings. The LED panel delivers up to 5000 lumens with colour temperature adjustable between 2700K (warm white) and 5000K (daylight) via the remote, and the brightness dims smoothly from 10-100%. The DC motor runs quieter than AC equivalents and draws less power, with the combined fan and light consuming 70W at maximum output. The transparent blades retract flush into the circular housing when the fan is switched off, leaving only the 400mm gold and black disc visible.
The remote control manages six fan speeds, timer functions, forward/reverse airflow direction, and all LED settings. The 145° beam angle from the LED provides wide, even distribution across a 16-20m² room, and the 5000lm output is sufficient as the sole light source in most residential spaces. The fan blades themselves are impact-resistant polycarbonate with a transparent finish that minimises visual intrusion when spinning. The combined weight of motor, blades and LED assembly is 4.4kg, requiring a ceiling joist or reinforced fixing point rated for at least 10kg.

Frequently Asked
What happens to the blades when the fan is off?
The transparent blades retract flush into the circular housing when the motor is switched off, leaving only the 400mm gold and black disc visible on the ceiling. When the fan starts, centrifugal force extends the blades to the full 910mm diameter.
Can the colour temperature and brightness be adjusted independently?
Yes. The remote control allows independent adjustment of colour temperature (2700K to 5000K in steps) and brightness (10-100% dimming). You can set warm white at full brightness, cool white dimmed to 30%, or any combination.
What ceiling height is suitable?
The Niseko S works best in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. Below 2.4m the fan blades may feel too close; above 3m the airflow and light distribution become less effective. The drop from ceiling to the bottom of the light panel is 305mm when flush-mounted, or up to 430mm if an extension rod is used.
How does the DC motor compare to AC ceiling fans?
DC motors run quieter, consume less power for equivalent airflow, and allow finer speed control (the Niseko S has six speeds vs the typical three on AC fans). The trade-off is slightly higher upfront cost, but the energy savings and noise reduction make DC preferable for bedrooms and living spaces.
