Description

The Niseko is a 50cm circular LED suspension light with an integrated 40W tuneable LED system, delivering 2950 lumens through an opal diffuser set within a matt white metal frame. The colour temperature adjusts from 2700K warm white to 5000K cool white via included remote control or smartphone app, allowing the light output to be matched to the time of day or task at hand.

Suspended on three thin steel cables from a circular ceiling canopy, the Niseko hangs between 250mm and 2000mm below the ceiling, with the drop height adjusted during installation to suit room proportions. The wide 145° beam angle casts even light across dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living zones without creating hot spots or shadow rings. At 2.2kg the fitting requires a standard UK ceiling rose capable of supporting that load.

The matt white powder-coated aluminium frame pairs with the opal polycarbonate diffuser to soften the LED light path, eliminating glare while retaining output brightness. The circular form sits comfortably in square or rectangular rooms without imposing strong visual geometry, making it suitable for minimalist, Scandi and contemporary interiors where fittings are expected to recede rather than dominate. The tuneable LED system removes the need to commit to a single colour temperature at purchase — mornings can start with cooler 4000-5000K light for alertness, evenings can shift to warmer 2700-3000K for winding down.

What drop height works above a dining table?

For a standard dining table, hang the Niseko 700-900mm above the table surface. This typically requires a ceiling height of 2.4m or higher when accounting for the 500mm diameter of the fitting itself. The suspension cables can be shortened during installation to achieve the correct drop for your room.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED system is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, which equates to around 10 years at 7 hours per day. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty on the complete fitting including the LED module.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The suspension cables can accommodate a slight slope, but the circular canopy is designed for horizontal ceiling surfaces. Installation on steeply sloped or vaulted ceilings may require an additional mounting plate to level the canopy before the cables are attached.
