Description

The Niseko is a 38cm circular LED pendant light with a wood-effect brown frame surrounding an opal diffuser, delivering 2250 lumens through an integrated 30W LED. The light suspends on three fine wires from a round ceiling plate, giving the ring a floating appearance above dining tables, kitchen islands or bedside positions.

The integrated LED provides tuneable white light adjustable between warm 2700K and cool daylight 5000K via the included remote control or companion smartphone app. This allows the same fitting to serve as warm ambient lighting in the evening or cooler task lighting during the day. The broad 145-degree beam angle distributes light evenly across the area below rather than creating a focused spotlight. Drop height adjusts between 250mm minimum and 2000mm maximum on installation, fitting both standard 2.4m and higher ceilings.

The wood-effect finish on the circular frame pairs with oak, walnut and natural timber furniture, while the opal diffuser softens the LED source to prevent glare when viewed from seated positions. At 2.7kg the fitting requires a ceiling plate mounted to a joist or suitable fixing, and the three-wire suspension balances the weight evenly without visible sway. The Niseko includes both a handheld remote control and a smartphone app for adjusting colour temperature between 2700K warm white and 5000K cool daylight. Both control methods also handle dimming and on/off switching.

What ceiling height does it need?

The drop height adjusts between 250mm and 2000mm on installation. Over a dining table or island the light typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

Is the wood finish real timber?

No. The brown frame uses a wood-effect finish applied to metal rather than solid timber. This provides the appearance of natural wood grain without the weight or maintenance requirements of real timber.

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, which equates to around 8-10 years at typical domestic usage levels. The entire fitting carries a 3-year warranty.
