Description

The Nimes is a 6-light cluster pendant suspending six cylindrical metal shades from a 48cm diameter matt black canopy on individual cable drops. The shades alternate between matt black, rich brown and deep green finishes, with two shades in each colour arranged asymmetrically across the cluster. Each shade houses a single 10W lamp fitting (bulbs sold separately) and directs light downwards through an open base.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and bar areas where task and ambient light combine, the Nimes works best over surfaces 1.8-2.4m long where the 48cm canopy width provides balanced coverage without overhang. The individual cable drops are adjustable between 40cm minimum and 160cm maximum, allowing the cluster to be staggered at different heights for sculptural depth or aligned at a consistent level for uniform downlight across a table surface. The six-light output suits larger rooms with 3m or higher ceilings.

The matt finish on all three colours reduces glare and keeps the focus on the interplay of earthy tones rather than reflective surfaces. The cylindrical shades measure approximately 16cm in height with a compact diameter that keeps the overall cluster visually light despite the six-fitting arrangement. Each of the six shades takes a 10W maximum bulb. The fitting specification supports 110-220V, so confirm your specific lamp base type (E27, E14, GU10) from the assembly instruction PDF before purchasing bulbs. Bulbs are sold separately.

Can the drops be set at different heights?

Yes. Each cable drop is individually adjustable between 40cm and 160cm, allowing you to stagger the cluster at varying heights for sculptural effect or align all six shades at the same level for uniform downlight over a dining table.

What table length does it suit?

The 48cm canopy diameter works best over tables or islands between 1.8m and 2.4m long. For narrower surfaces the cluster may appear oversized; for tables beyond 2.4m consider pairing two Nimes clusters or choosing a longer linear pendant design.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you install.
