This round stoneware mug brings a little Nightmare Before Christmas mischief to the kitchen cupboard, finished in a warm, glossy orange. One side shows a grinning skeleton in a black pinstripe suit and spiky bat bow tie, dangling spider webs between bats, stars and a tiny spider, above the words "EVERY DAY IS HALLOWEEN" in cream, pink and gold-toned lettering. Turn it round and a floppy-eared ghost dog floats along with a bucket of treats between the words "TRICK OR TREAT", with autumn leaves and wrapped sweets scattered around it. It stands 9.5cm tall, 13cm wide and 8cm deep, and holds 400ml.

The round, bellied shape sits comfortably in two hands, and 400ml is a generous size for a big mug of tea, coffee or hot chocolate on a cold autumn evening. It is a natural pick for Halloween, whether you bring it out every October or keep the spooky spirit going all year, just as the front promises.
