Description

The Next is a 10m spool of 5mm diameter silver fabric lighting cable from Ideal Lux, designed for wiring pendant lights, table lamps and custom light installations where the cable becomes part of the visual design. The fabric braid over the flex core provides a soft sheen silver finish that suits both contemporary and industrial interiors.

Used to replace standard plastic-sheathed flex on vintage lamp conversions, rewire existing pendant fittings, or create custom suspension systems for decorative bulbs and pendants. The 10m length allows multiple short runs or a single long drop for high-ceiling installations. The 5mm diameter is thick enough to support lightweight pendants and provide visual presence without overwhelming delicate lamp holders or small bulb fittings.

The fabric covering is resistant to fraying when cut to length and can be threaded through ceiling roses, lamp holder grub screws and most standard pendant accessories without specialist tools. The silver tone pairs well with polished chrome, brushed steel and satin nickel fittings, and sits comfortably against white, grey or exposed brick backgrounds. Sold as a continuous 10m length on a spool.
