The Nexon is a 335mm crystal table lamp built around a faceted crystal column with polished silver metalwork at the base and fitting. The crystal body is cut with geometric facets that catch and refract ambient light even when the lamp is off, creating prismatic light patterns on nearby surfaces. The lamp is sold without a shade, allowing buyers to pair it with their choice of shade style and colour.

Designed for bedside tables, console units and side tables in living rooms and hallways, the Nexon suits traditional and contemporary interiors where a decorative lamp base is wanted. The 90mm diameter base footprint means it fits on narrow console tables and bedside units without overhang. The inline switch on the cable sits approximately 150mm from the base, within easy reach when the lamp is positioned on a bedside table.

The faceted crystal column is moulded optical-grade acrylic rather than hand-cut glass crystal, giving consistent facet geometry across all units and a lower weight than equivalent glass designs. The polished silver finish on the base and E14 lampholder is electroplated metal, producing high reflectivity that pairs well with chrome, polished nickel and mirror-finish furniture. The lamp accepts any E14 (small Edison screw) bulb up to 60W and is dimmable when paired with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer.

No. The lamp is sold as a base only, allowing you to pair it with your preferred shade style and colour. Diyas produces a compatible pleated fabric shade (model ILS20202) shown in the product image, sold separately. Standard E14 clip-on shades from other suppliers will also fit.

What bulb does it take?

The Nexon takes a single E14 (small Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with a warm-white LED candle bulb between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for bedside or ambient use.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable E14 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself has no built-in dimming control — dimming is controlled at the wall switch or via an inline dimmer module added to the cable.

Is the crystal genuine cut glass?

The faceted column is moulded optical-grade acrylic rather than hand-cut glass. This gives consistent facet geometry, lighter weight, and lower breakage risk during shipping and handling compared to glass crystal designs.
