Description

The Nero is a 520mm diameter flush ceiling light built around eight overlapping circular discs of curved acid-etched glass, each disc housing a single E27 bulb behind a white diffuser. The discs overlap in a scalloped pattern that gives the fitting a soft sculptural presence against the ceiling while keeping the overall depth shallow enough for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights.

Designed for living rooms, large dining rooms and open-plan spaces where overhead illumination needs to cover 15-20m² without creating harsh pools of light or deep shadows, the eight-bulb configuration distributes light evenly across the ceiling plane. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable E27 LED bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer, allowing the light level to be adjusted for different times of day or activities. The flush mount sits close to the ceiling, projecting approximately 100mm down from the ceiling rose.

The acid-etched glass softens the direct output of the bulbs and reduces glare, turning each disc into a diffused light source rather than a visible bright point. The white finish on the glass and the chrome canopy hardware give the fitting a neutral palette that pairs with both warm and cool interior tones. Each E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W, though most installations use 8-12W LED bulbs for the equivalent of 60-100W incandescent output across the entire fitting.
