Description

The Natural Rustica is a 7x12cm pillar candle made from 100% paraffin wax with a pale beige colour and a textured surface that gives it a hand-poured, rustic appearance. The single cotton wick runs through the centre of the cylindrical form, designed to burn evenly and produce a clean, bright flame without excessive smoke or soot.

At 12cm tall and 7cm diameter, the candle suits dining tables, mantels, windowsills and side tables where a medium-height flame is wanted without overwhelming smaller rooms. The approximately 60-hour burn time allows it to be used across several evenings of dinner lighting or weekend ambient use before replacement. The candle is freestanding and does not require a separate holder, though placing it on a heat-resistant tray or plate protects surfaces from wax drips.

The pale beige tone pairs comfortably with neutral and warm-toned interiors, and the textured finish differentiates it from smooth commercial pillar candles. The 0.416kg weight gives the candle stability on flat surfaces without tipping under normal household conditions. Libra Interiors produces the Rustica range in multiple sizes, allowing the same finish and colour to be used at different heights across a room or grouped on a tray.

Frequently Asked

How long does the candle burn?

The Natural Rustica 7x12cm pillar candle has an approximate burn time of 60 hours. Actual burn time varies depending on how long the candle is lit during each use and air movement around the flame.

Does it need a holder?

No. The flat base allows the candle to stand freestanding on any level, heat-resistant surface. Placing it on a tray, plate or saucer protects furniture from wax drips and makes cleanup easier.

Is the candle scented?

The Natural Rustica pillar is unscented paraffin wax. It produces a clean, bright flame without added fragrance, making it suitable for dining tables where scent might interfere with food.

What colour is it?

The candle is pale beige with a slightly off-white, natural tone. The textured surface gives it a hand-poured, rustic appearance that differentiates it from smooth white pillar candles.
