Description

This cream stoneware mug is a gentle way to tell a grandmother how much she means, with the word Nan in gold lettering across a pale brushstroke of colour and the message "When you hug me, the whole world feels right" printed beside it. Around the words sits a little night-time scene: two bears sitting close together on a branch, pastel pink, lilac and grey clouds, a gold crescent moon and a scattering of tiny stars and hearts. Along the top of the handle are the words "love you so very much". The mug stands 8.5cm tall, 13cm wide and 12cm deep, with a smooth cream glaze and a softly rounded shape that tapers towards the rim.

It holds 350ml, which makes a generous cup of tea or coffee for a morning cuppa or an afternoon break, and it is just as lovely sitting on a kitchen shelf or a dresser between brews. We think it suits any grandmother known as Nan, whether you are a grandchild giving it yourself or helping little ones choose something for her.
