Description

This resin photo frame is made for a grandparent welcoming their first grandchild, with the words "my first grandchild" written across the top in flowing gold-tone script. It holds one 6 x 4in photograph in a single rectangular opening, set in landscape, so a first portrait of the new arrival sits wide and centred. The cream border is broad and smooth, with a stepped outer edge, and small gold-tone stars are scattered either side of the lettering, with a single star beneath the opening. The whole frame measures 14.5cm tall, 20cm wide and 2cm deep, a neat size that suits a shelf without crowding it.

It makes a lovely gift for a grandmother or grandfather, whether it comes from proud new parents or from the wider family. The soft cream colour sits easily in most homes, on a living room mantelpiece or bookcase, a bedside table or a hallway console, and the gold-tone detail catches warm lamplight without looking showy. Because the wording speaks in the grandparent's own voice, the frame becomes a small, personal way to celebrate a new arrival, and it gives a favourite photograph a lasting home where it will be seen and enjoyed every day.

The frame is made from resin, with a smooth matt cream finish that keeps the focus on your photograph, and the gold-tone lettering and stars give it a gentle shine. Care is simple: dust it with a soft dry cloth and, if it needs a little more, wipe it gently with a slightly damp cloth and let it dry. We suggest slipping a favourite photograph inside before you wrap it, so the grandparent opens a finished keepsake and can set it out straight away, ready to share with every visitor who asks about the newest member of the family.
