Description

This light green cushion has the cheerful line "My Dog Is Cuter Than Yours" across its front, with three painterly dogs sitting in a row beneath it. A spotted Dalmatian in a yellow checked neckerchief sits on the left, a little dachshund in a green collar waits in the middle and a golden retriever with a curly coat completes the line. The words are set in white capitals, with "yours" written in a looping white script. The whole front is framed by a soft white scalloped border with a fine cream edge. It measures 48cm wide and 48cm high, a generous square that sits comfortably on a sofa or armchair.

We like it best on a living room sofa where the dog has already claimed a corner, on a reading chair in a snug, or on a window seat overlooking the garden. Its light green and white sit easily with natural wood, cream walls and soft neutrals, and they bring a fresh, friendly note to a room. It makes a cheerful gift for anyone whose home revolves around their pets. The slogan does the talking, so every visitor gets a good-natured challenge the moment they sit down.

The front is printed with the design and the back is plain white, so it looks neat from any angle and the scalloped border shows on both sides. Keep it looking fresh by plumping it often and brushing off dust and pet hair with a soft clothes brush or lint roller. Pair it with plain cushions in white or a deeper green so the three dogs stay the centre of attention. It also wraps up well for a pet-loving friend who never stops talking about theirs.
