Description

The Mural is a 700mm semi-flush ceiling light built from three interlocking rectangular frames in matt black powder-coated aluminium. Each frame contains an integrated LED strip along its inner edge, while a central rectangular backplate houses the driver and adds a third dimension to the design. The combined 48W LED output at 3000K delivers 3840 lumens through a 60° beam angle, casting warm white light both downwards and onto the ceiling surface around the fitting.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms, and commercial spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Mural works as a primary light source in rooms up to 20-25m². The semi-flush profile sits 190mm below the ceiling, making it suitable for standard-height ceilings where a full pendant would hang too low. The geometric frame structure casts layered shadows onto the ceiling when lit, adding depth and pattern to plain white or light-coloured ceiling surfaces.

The matt black finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, so the frames read as solid dark lines against the ceiling during the day and become defined by the halo of warm light at their edges when the fitting is switched on. The 700mm length and 600mm width give the design presence in medium to large rooms without overwhelming smaller spaces. At 2.2kg, the fitting mounts to a standard ceiling rose with the provided fixings and backplate.

The Mural is part of Mantra's Spanish-designed collection and carries a 3-year warranty. The integrated LED modules are non-replaceable, rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use. The fitting is not dimmable and operates on standard 220-240V mains.

No. The LEDs are integrated into the frame structure and are not user-replaceable. The modules are rated for approximately 25,000 hours, equivalent to around 11 years of use at 6 hours per day.
