Description

This stoneware mug for Mum carries a heartfelt verse on a soft white glaze, framed on either side by watercolour sprigs of wildflowers. The word Mum sits at the top in flowing black script, with the lines "Generous & caring, KIND & thoughtful too. you make everything MORE LOVELY, just by being YOU." printed beneath it. Turn the mug round and the back is a whole meadow of peach blooms, blue and lilac stems and soft yellow leaves, with a little bee drifting among them. A peach handle and a fine peach rim pick up the warmest tones of the flowers, and inside, just below the rim, one more line reads "You're the loveliest", a quiet surprise for her first sip.
