Description
Mujer Dorada is a 150x100cm photographic print on 4mm tempered glass, showing a female bust wearing a sculptural headpiece of gilded branches, blossoms and abstract metalwork. The print is rendered in gold and bronze tones against a black backdrop, with the headpiece appearing to grow organically from the subject's head in a baroque composition that references classical mythology and ornamental metalwork traditions.
The tempered glass substrate gives the print a high-gloss finish and structural rigidity, allowing it to be mounted directly to a wall without requiring a separate frame. At 150x100cm the print occupies substantial wall space and works as a single focal piece in formal dining rooms, sitting rooms with high ceilings, or contemporary gallery walls where scale and contrast matter. The 15.9kg weight requires secure wall fixings into masonry or timber studs — hanging ironwork is included for installation.
The image pairs well with interiors that already use warm metallic accents (brass, bronze, gold leaf) or with high-contrast schemes where black and gold anchor the palette. The baroque detailing in the headpiece gives the print a maximalist quality that suits richly layered interiors, while the photographic realism and minimal composition allow it to work in contemporary settings where art photography is the primary decorative element. The glass surface can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth.
Mujer Dorada is part of Schuller's photographic art collection, manufactured in Spain. The print is UV-stable and suitable for interior walls away from direct sunlight, which can cause colour shift over extended periods. The 0.4cm glass depth projects minimally from the wall once mounted.

Frequently Asked
What wall fixings are needed?
The print weighs 15.9kg and requires secure fixings into masonry (brick, block, concrete) or timber studs. Hanging ironwork is included. For plasterboard walls without studs behind, use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated for at least 20kg.
Can it be hung in portrait or landscape orientation?
The composition is designed for landscape orientation (150cm wide, 100cm tall). Rotating it to portrait would place the subject's head at the side rather than the top, which disrupts the visual balance of the piece.
How is the glass surface cleaned?
Wipe with standard household glass cleaner and a clean microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough cloths that could scratch the printed surface. The tempered glass is harder-wearing than standard picture glass but still benefits from gentle handling.
Is it suitable for bathrooms or high-humidity areas?
The tempered glass substrate is moisture-resistant, but the print is designed for interior walls in standard residential humidity. Avoid hanging in steamy bathrooms or areas with persistent condensation, which can affect the printed layer over time.
