The Mount Vernon 1 Light Medium Outdoor Lantern is a wall-mounted light with a classic build. Panels of clear seedy glass sit within a framed housing, letting the shape of the bulb show through while the gently rippled glass softens the light. Finished in Old Bronze, it carries a warm, traditional look that suits a range of exterior settings. It takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W and runs on mains voltage.

This lantern works well beside a front door, along a porch, or by a side gate where you want a welcoming glow and a clear line of sight. The IP44 rating means it copes with splashing and the weather you would expect on a sheltered outside wall, so it is a sensible choice for entrances and passageways. Its medium size keeps it in proportion on most walls without dominating the space, and the bronze tone reads well against brick, stone and painted render alike.

The frame is made from aluminium, chosen for its resistance to corrosion outdoors, and it is backed by a three year anti-corrosion guarantee.
