Description

The Morvah is a single-light wall fitting with a cylindrical seeded glass shade held by a polished chrome mount, rated IP44 for bathroom and outdoor porch use. The fitting takes one E27 bulb (sold separately) up to 60W and can be installed with the shade facing upward or downward depending on the mounting orientation needed.

The seeded glass creates a textured surface that diffuses the bulb filament while still allowing the light source to remain visible, making it well-suited to vintage-style LED Edison bulbs. The 189mm projection from the wall gives clearance for the glass shade without the fitting encroaching into narrow hallways or tight bathroom spaces. The IP44 rating protects against splashing from any direction, meeting the requirements for bathroom zones 2 and 3 as well as covered outdoor porches.

The polished chrome finish provides a high-gloss reflective surface that pairs with modern bathroom fittings, chrome taps and contemporary handlesets. The combination of chrome metalwork and seeded glass gives the Morvah a hybrid aesthetic that works in both traditional and contemporary settings. Yes. The IP44 rating protects against splashing from any direction, making the Morvah suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. It is not rated for installation directly inside a shower cubicle or within 60cm of a bath or shower head (zone 1).
