Description

The Mogano is a ceiling fan with light that pairs cooling air with a bright, adjustable glow in one fitting. A rounded cage of curved steel slats in a sand finish wraps clear blades and a dark grey central motor, all hung from a neat round canopy that sits flush against the ceiling. It measures 22.5cm high and 42.8cm in diameter, so it fills the centre of a room without hanging low. The light comes from integrated LEDs giving 3,600 lumens, a generous output for a main ceiling light, and the energy class is D. It is rated IPX0, which means it has no protection against water, so this is a fan for dry indoor rooms only.

Because it does two jobs, it suits rooms where a separate fan would clutter the floor or a bedside table: bedrooms on warm nights, a living room, a dining room or a home office. The colour temperature adjusts from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, so the same ceiling fan with light gives a soft, relaxed tone in the evening and a crisp, clear light for reading or working during the day. The sand and grey colouring is a gentle neutral that sits comfortably with natural wood, linen and pale walls.

The body is steel and the shade is plastic, and the open slatted cage lets air move freely while keeping the blades enclosed. At 1.71KG it is light to handle during fitting, and because it is a wired mains fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician. Clean it only when the fan is still and the light is cold, dusting the slats and canopy with a soft, dry cloth and keeping water and harsh cleaners away from the sand finish. A quick dust every few weeks keeps the air moving cleanly and the light looking bright.
