Description
The Mirror is a 600mm chrome picture light with four G9 bulb fittings housed in a cylindrical polished chrome body. The light bar projects 150mm from the wall on a curved chrome arm, with an adjustable diffuser that can be tilted to direct light evenly across a wide artwork, mirror or photograph below. The four-bulb configuration provides enough output to cover displays up to approximately 1.2-1.5m wide without gaps in the light spread.
Designed for installation above artworks, mirrors, architectural prints and large photographs in living rooms, hallways, galleries and formal dining rooms, the Mirror pairs well with frames wider than 800mm where a single or dual-bulb picture light would leave the edges underlit. The 150mm projection keeps the light source far enough forward to wash the surface evenly without casting the frame's shadow onto the wall. The polished chrome finish suits contemporary, modern and minimalist interiors, and maintains its reflective surface with occasional dusting.
The adjustable diffuser tilts to angle the light cone precisely onto the centre of the artwork, compensating for variations in frame depth and ceiling height. Each G9 fitting accepts bulbs up to the maximum wattage specified in the table below (bulbs sold separately), and the light is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmer switches and dimmable G9 LED bulbs. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations. The five-year warranty from Ideal Lux covers manufacturing defects when the light is installed and used within the rated specifications.

Frequently Asked
Is this light dimmable?
Yes. The Mirror is rated as dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable G9 bulbs. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb model, so check the bulb packaging before pairing with a dimmer to avoid flicker or buzz.
What size artwork does it suit?
The 600mm length and four-bulb configuration suit artworks, mirrors or photographs between 800mm and 1500mm wide. Narrower displays can also be lit, though a shorter two-bulb picture light may give a more proportionate look for frames under 800mm.
What bulbs are needed?
The light takes four G9 capsule bulbs (sold separately). Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 2700K and 3000K at 3-5W per bulb, giving approximately 1200-2000 lumens combined output across the four fittings.
Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?
The curved arm is designed for horizontal wall mounting above the artwork. On sloped ceilings the arm may not sit parallel to the wall, affecting the light spread. The adjustable diffuser offers some tilt compensation but the light works best on vertical walls.
